4/5: "A very successful wine"
Guide Hachette 2014
“Three cuvées won over the jury: Aux Chailloux 2011, Aux Insarts 2011, Aux Bouthières 2011.
These Chailloux display an intense golden color, with a nose of pear, quince, and flint. On the palate, from the very first sip, it shows complexity and balance, with great mineral purity. A remarkable wine for its finesse and subtlety, perfect to serve with line-caught sea bass.”

3/5: "A very successful wine"
Guide Hachette 2021
“Clear and bright, gray-gold with metallic highlights, this superb Pouilly-Fuissé reveals a complex and varied nose: jasmine, fern, lemon, passion fruit, ginger... On the palate, it combines fineness, suppleness, freshness, and length. A most harmonious and elegant wine. Cellaring: 2022 - 2028.”

3/5: "A very successful wine"
Guide Hachette 2020
“This 2015, from a century-old vineyard harvested by hand and aged for thirty-six months in demi-muids, displays an intense ‘old gold’ color. The complex and opulent bouquet is still marked by wood, but also reveals hints of exotic fruits (mango and passion fruit) and dried fruits (hazelnut). Rich and round, the palate offers evolving aromas (candied mandarin, preserved fruit jam), giving it persistence and character. A wine built for aging, but already enjoyable today. A fine example of maturation work to be encouraged with a view toward classifying the appellation’s great terroirs as Premier Cru.”

3/5: "A very successful wine"
Guide Hachette 2019
“From century-old Chardonnay vines comes this pale yellow wine, presenting a pronounced woody character on the nose: vanilla and toasted bread within a ripe fruity backdrop. After a generous attack, the palate reveals great richness and balance, leaning toward roundness, with still-dominant aging notes (twenty-four months in demi-muids). This Pouilly-Fuissé should have a long life—provided one has the patience to wait for it.”

3/5: "A very successful wine"
Guide Hachette 2018
“Respectful of tradition, the Renaud family works the soils, hand-harvests, and ages their wines in demi-muids. The result is this beautiful golden wine with copper highlights, offering aromas of hay, honey, and very ripe, almost candied fruits, with a frank, generous, vanilla-tinged, and fruity palate, lifted by a pleasant touch of acidity. A 2013 that is both rich and well-balanced with good tension.”

“This cuvée is immediately expressive with its multiple fruity aromas reminiscent of pear, yellow peach, and lemon. Fresh and well-structured, the palate already offers plenty of pleasure. A harmonious bottle, ready to be enjoyed as soon as the Guide was released.”

Introduction to the Hachette Wine Guide
The Hachette Wine Guide is one of the reference guides in the world of oenology. For every winegrower, it is a great source of pride to see their cuvées featured in it.
Each year, the blind tastings lead to a rating with a number of stars awarded to the wines presented.
The wines are described (color, aromatic qualities on the nose and palate) and rated by the tasters on a scale from 0 to 5 (see the rating scale in the previous tab).
