Bettane + desseauve
"Magnificent Pouilly-Fuissé, refined, with notes of dried fruits and a hint of oak. It has reached a beautiful maturity, revealing both its terroir and its vintage. I love it! Best enjoyed before 2023."

"This wine offers real depth, freshness, and elegance. Its aromatic complexity leans toward a noble vegetal character, enhanced by skillful aging. Best enjoyed before 2023."

"Sheer indulgence, with a fresh, direct, and precise attack. And yet, you bite into pineapple and star anise, with a minty finish. A real treat. Best enjoyed before 2024."

"Floral and fragrant, it’s a charmer. A fresh, spring-like attack that gives way to a few exotic notes."

"Easy, juicy yellow fruit, this is a classic and approachable Pouilly. The terroir identity is not predominant unless it is allowed to breathe. Best enjoyed before 2023."

"Very straightforward juice, in a clean, vertical style, lemony and very modern. The structure is fine, with a certain austerity. Best enjoyed before 2023."

Each year, 50,000 wines are blind-tasted, but only the highest quality are selected (between 7,000 and 9,000 cuvées).
A score out of 20 is given. You can discover the rating scale in the previous section, as well as the second scale used to assign a number of stars to the estate.

Domaine Pascal RENAUD
“From a very old family of winemakers in Pouilly, Pascal and Mireille Renaud, joined in 2008 by their son, cultivate eight hectares in Pouilly-Fuissé, Mâcon-Solutré, and Saint-Véran. The entire estate is grassed every other row to challenge the vines and limit soil erosion, and viticulture follows a sustainable approach. Aging takes place in barrels or large casks, producing wines with personality, complex aromas, and very interesting bottle evolution.”
