The aperitif is the art of wine without a set plate: you need a welcoming white, expressive from the first sniff, that pleases the greatest number and goes as well with gougères as with oysters or fine charcuterie. Our vat-aged cuvées, bursting with fruit, are cut out for the role.
Our three opening acts
The Clos de la Tournache Monopole is our signature aperitif: its muscat-like notes, uncommon in the Mâconnais, intrigue and charm at once — the art of starting the conversation. The Mâcon-Solutré-Pouilly plays the convivial generosity of large tables, while the Saint-Véran Champs de Perdrix brings the floral elegance suited to oysters and iodine-rich bites.
In practice
Allow one bottle for three to four guests at the aperitif, served at 13 °C — and remember to keep one chilled for what follows. For the year-end celebrations, a Premier Cru with the foie gras takes over elegantly; and for gifts, we are happy to compose made-to-measure selections: write to us.
