The Heritage
Our Estate
A tradition of excellence passed down from generation to generation since 1924.
A Century of Passion
Our Expertise
A family of winegrowers for generations, we pass on the expertise of the land, the vine and the wine.
The Soil, Alive
and Preserved
The hillside vines are grass-covered every other row, a precise and considered gesture to contain erosion without impoverishing the soil. In alternating rows, the winter pruning wood is laid then mulched in spring — it combats erosion while creating, through its decomposition, rich organic matter that naturally fertilises the vine.
All other inputs come exclusively from organic-certified French agricultural manure and soil amendments. The soil is not a medium — it is a living being that we respect and listen to.
The Vine, a Treasure
of the Generations
The vines are an inheritance, a family pride passed hand to hand. Old vines, very old vines, young plants — each age has its own value, its signature in the glass, its singular way of telling the story of the terroir.
Soil work is carried out only on the surface and as infrequently as possible, to preserve the micro-organisms that bring life to the soil. Cover crop trials have been conducted on pilot plots: the goal is to naturally enrich our soils and keep them healthy and living for as long as possible — on the path towards fully organic viticulture.
The Wine, from Grape
to Bottle
All our wines are vinified at the estate. The grapes are harvested slightly before full ripeness to preserve the freshness and natural balance of the Chardonnay. The harvest, carried out by hand on most of the estate, is swiftly brought to the press for pressing without crushing.
The rest of the winemaking consists of guiding the natural yeasts in their work of transforming sugar into alcohol, then watching over the malolactic fermentation. Ageing extends from 12 to 36 months depending on the cuvée, giving the wine all the time it needs to reach its most complete expression.
Excellence,
Down to the Last Detail
Corks come in two ranges. For the entry-level cuvées, a technical cork offering perfect sealing and absolute consistency, the result of several years of rigorous testing to minimise the addition of sulphites. For the premium selections, the finest natural cork available — 54 mm in length, controlled density — so that the wine may age gracefully without betraying its promises.
Our cases are entirely made from 100% recycled and 100% recyclable materials : our commitment to quality extends to our responsibility towards the planet.
The Future, Charted
with Conviction
Domaine Pascal Renaud harbours clear and measured ambitions. In the short and medium term, to strengthen the distribution of our wines by diversifying distribution channels to reach new enthusiasts, everywhere in the world.
Achieving fully organic viticulture while maintaining reasonable yields — allowing us to offer our wines at accessible prices — is our second commitment. Finally, a considered expansion of the estate, always within the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, will naturally complete this vision.
Winegrowers from Father to Son
Nestled at the foot of the famous Rock of Solutré, Domaine Pascal Renaud is above all a family story — a lineage of passionate people who, from generation to generation, give Burgundian Chardonnay its most authentic and sincere expression.
Pascal grew up among the vine rows from the age of 13. A lifetime in contact with the land has forged in him a rare expertise, which he now passes on with the quiet generosity of those who have learnt everything through effort and love of the craft.
After twenty years working the vines alongside Pascal, Mireille now embodies the commercial and administrative soul of the estate. Discreet and precise, she ensures that every bottle finds its rightful path.
Joining the estate in 2009, Guillaume guides the wine from the moment the grapes enter the cellar to the moment of bottling. A cellar master at heart, he is also the driving force behind future projects, always with the measured boldness of true craftsmen.
A graduate in viticulture, Amandine joined the estate in 2012 with the rigour of her studies and the sensitivity of someone who grew up to the sound of harvests. Alongside Mireille she manages the administrative and logistical operations, while sharing with Guillaume the vision of the estate of tomorrow.
Having come to lend a hand during the 2019 harvest, Flore never left. The vine captured her as it captures all those who have the terroir in their blood. Since 2020, she has enthusiastically contributed to the growth of the estate, bringing new energy to this family of winegrowers.
